Not our fault...it was the blue that was on sale!

We all have color preferences. Naturally, those of us who are correct tend towards blacks, reds, and blues but there are color heretics all over who prefer the vastly inferior greens, yellows, fuschias, and so forth of the world. There is probably even someone out there whose favorite color is "watermelon".

So it is no shock that if, say...carpet is on sale we want it to be a color we like. But what if we want red carpet but the blue is on sale that week? Do you still buy the blue so you can save money?

Fair warning; if you do the Queen of England might get stuck on a plane for an extra 20 minutes because the red carpet is 15' too short...
