Since drugs are on the decline...

One overlooked victim group in the drug wars is the mules. These people dedicate their lives to moving drugs from one location to the other. With nation after nation cracking down on drugs there have been new and creative ways to move them that don't involve mules.

(for the uninitiated, "mule" is a term for the people who are not really part of the syndicate but only are involved in transporting the drugs)

So the mules are looking for other things to do. Only problem is they have to find new ways to operate. For example, one method of transporting cocaine is to make pellets of it wrapped in condoms which they then swallow and transport in their stomach. Once they arrive in their destination country they are taken to small hotels where they wait until the pellets pass through their system, retrieve them and the drugs are then repackaged and sold.

This is much more difficult to do when you are smuggling crocodiles....
