This is a verbatim conversation I had at work. Only the names have been changed for reasons that will soon be obvious.
** ring **
"Thank you for calling ******, this is Drew can I help you?"
"Yes, this is ****** from *********. Can you give ***** a message? I just sent a fax over and if he hasn't seen it in an hour can you have him call me?"
"Sure, no problem. Thanks, bye."
I look over at *****. "Uh, *****, are you on the phone?"
"No, why?"
"Just curious."
So I gave him the message. That is correct...knowing who he wanted to have the message...the dude called me instead. Is this a great country or what?
Why did so many people just say, "Or what"?
