How much faith do you put in someone who has a pattern like this:
"What we have told you is true."
time passes
"Well, the foundation of what we told you is wrong but the rest of it is still true. Oh, and it happened at a different time that we told you."
time passes.
"Well, the revised foundation is wrong but the rest of it is still true. Oh, and it happened at a different time than we told you."
time passes.
"Well, we were wrong about key points of what we told you but the rest of it is still true. Oh, and it happened in a different WAY than we told you. And at a different time. And over a different period of time."
To my way of thinking it reads like this: Even though we were wrong in every facet of our initial hypothesis, we are so tied into it that regardless of fact we are not going to reevaluate our claim, we are simply going to tell you we are correct.
That is why I literally was laughing out loud when I read this.
You have to love a group that admits their evidence is, at best, "patchy" and that claim after claim has been shown to be fundamentally wrong yet they are still 100% convinced they know what they are talking about. Thanks for the laughs, gang.

"It looks like a later bout of 'global warming’ may have kick-started today’s diversity - not the death of the dinosaurs."
Has anyone let Al Gore know about this? As the inventor of the Internet he should probably be FOR diversity. :)
