Probably a Foxworthy joke but I have seen it unattributed so much it might not be, but there is a popular redneck joke that goes like this:
"What are the last words a redneck says? 'Hey everybody, watch this!'"
The implicit assumption of the joke is that you will understand he was about to attempt something stupid and dangerous.
A closely related albeit true life type of incident is people who videotape their crimes. Nothing like providing all the needed evidence.
But now we have a new brilliant way to hurt oneself. Take the case of the policewoman. Her boyfriend was sick and she wanted to send him a get well present. So she unbuttoned her shirt, whipped out her, uh, assets, took a pic with her phone (showing her breasts and name badge) and texted it to her boyfriend...and he then sent it on so people all over the police force have a copy.
No word yet on whether they are still dating....
