Things are getting out of hand

First the presence of Hassidic synogogues means the gym has to frost the windows so they can't see people exercising. We were okay with that, after all...you have to get along. And of course we had to allow Sikh boys to carry knives around lest they be offended. I mean, you have to get along. And if I should want to attend a LaMaze class with my wife, that isn't allowed lest the Hindu community be offended. All right, fair enough.

But now Herouxville has just taken it too far. Now they are saying this:

Immigrants to the small Quebec town of Herouxville must not stone women in public, burn them alive or throw acid on them, according to an extraordinary set of rules made public by the local council.

I mean, sure, we can still stone women in private (apparently...just reading the proclamation here) but where is the fun in that? If it ain't public how can the neighbors participate?

I guess the real question is....what, exactly, is "extraordinary" about rules against stoning your women in public, burning them alive, and throwing acid on them? Is that a NEW rule? I could have been doing that all this time? Probably a good thing I did not know that....
