Ehwmew Fudd Wikes the idea

How cruel was it that the accent Mel Blanc developed for Elmer Fudd was one that prevented him from properly saying his own name? Seriously...let's look at that sentence in Elmer Fudd phonetics.
How cwu-oh was it that the accent Meweh Bwanc devewupped foe Ehmuh Fudd was one that pwevented him fwum pwopewy saying his own name?
Okay, so I can't figure out a phonetic way to say Elmer with no L. That is part of the genius of Blanc. And in honor of Blanc, we are hereby declaring this Darth Weasel Blanc Appreciation Accent Development year. It will actually start 1/1/07 but I figure we can get a head start.
So here is the deal. Most of us probably have not the time, talent, or inclination to modulate our vocal tones like Blanc did but we can sure elminate some letters from usage. And we will give you different levels of participation.

Level 1: Use of all "L" sounds replaced by "W". I wike to think we will wove this.
Wevew Two: Use of awl (the w stretches it out and fundamentawwy changes the sound of the wehd) "R" sounds awso with "w"
Wevew Twee: Both of the above with the addition of wisping. Thith ith done simpwy by wepwacing all "s" thounds with the "th" thound.
Wevew Fo-wuh: Awong with youw new diawect, uthe an awtewnate voice.

Okay, so that is hard to read:
Level 1: Use of all "L" sounds replaced by "W". I like to think we will love this.
Level 2: Use of all "R" sounds also replaced with "W"
Level 3" Both of the above with the addition of lisping. This is done simply be replacing all "S" sounds with the "th" sound
Level 4: Along with your new dialect, use an alternate voice.

While I am goofing around with phonetic spelling, this is actually intended to be a vocal experiment. Have fun with it. Meanwhile...
be vewwy, vewwy quiet...I'm twying to hunt a scwewwy wabbit! hu-hu-hu-hu-hu

One of Sean's coworkers hunts as a pastime...not that he catches anything...and he's kind of short and bald (like Elmer.) Someone put a picture of Elmer Fudd on his locker at work - I thought that was terribly clever :)
