Now that the "holiday" of Halloween is over and all the cheesy little costumes have (hopefully) been packed away we can get on with the serious business of November. What is so special about November you ask? What? You didn't ask? Well, too bad. I am telling you anyway. Stop! Get your hand away from that mouse! Finish reading this!
November is Write a novel in a month month in which thousands of people try to write a 50,000 word (terrible) novel. That is approximately 1,667 words each day. That is not easy to do. You have to write like the wind. It generally takes me about an hour to write a 1000 words on the articles I do for the CI website. Of course, there I am actually trying to be coherent and make sense. This novel idea might not.
I was going to try thi slast year but it did not work out. This year I think I will take a more serious run at it and see what happens. I replaced the News Weasel blog with what will be the beginning and (hipefully) continuing saga of a knightly mystery. Should be pretty bad with mass plot holes, terrible characterization, tenuous storytelling, and complete lack of talent. Oh, well, so be it. We are off like a herd of thundering turtles. Beware the wrath of the thundering turtles.
