Sometimes I wonder how crazy people are

And then Craigslist comes along and rescues me by revealing the true intellectual giants of our world. With thanks to Jr. Woodchuckette for the point in their direction, here are today's geniuses:

St. Helens: a good place to be from. Also known as "A nice place to live but I wouldn't want to visit there". How many things are wrong with this one ad?
Let's start with the allusion to their restroom needs. Okay, so they all must go; do they need a private stall? Most animals unleash their waste wherever they are whenever they feel like it. I guess these goats are special.
Second: kids for sale. Is that even legal? I mean, sure, in some small "third world" countries I suppose...
Third: Purebred. As opposed to? Well, in St. Helens, non-purebreds must be the goats bred back to their owners...

7 ft albino burmese python

Quick question: how does a python get high? I assume some sort of injection if he is tame. As we all know, the Sting Ray thought Steve Irwin was tame, that's why he gave him the injection. Just trying to help him get high.

Old Dog for Old Folks
Reply to: comm-205970884@craigslist.orgDate: 2006-09-11, 2:52PM PDTBeautiful and mellow 16yr old golden retriever. I've had him for 10 years and with my busy schedule don't feel like I can provide the love and care that he deserves. Incredibly friendly, in good health (for 16), very clean, house trained. Ideally I see him w/older folks who are around the house alot and like to take it easy. He loves to be pet and is very well mannered. He is hard of hearing and has a stiff leg. Email for more info and pics. Before giving him away I would like to see the living arangement. Thanks!

You know, some appreciation for this dude: long-term pet he knows he can not properly care for. Good to acknowledge that. Here is the problem: who, on the other end, is going to say, "Hey, he is looking for old folks. Mabel, that's us! We're old folks! Let's skip this dog's healthy years and just take the ones where he needs medications and vet trips! We can all be old together! He is hard of hearing so he won't hear you nagging either. And my leg has been pretty hard to bend lately. He reminds me of me. Oh, and check this out...another thing he has in common with us...hairy legs and knobby needs! We have struck gold!"
I guess at that age, I am just glad it is the dog's leg that is stiff. Forget the viagra, get him a crutch.
