I can only assume they did not test this next to people holding golf clubs or lightning rods. Here is a news flash for you: people who are outside are far more likely to be struck by lightning than people like me who are safely inside during a lightning storm.
Next week we will leatrn people driving cars without brakes are more likely to be in accidents than people driving cars with brakes.
