The Rock says this: Know your Role

"Madonna says that Hillary Rodham Clinton should “go for it” and run for president. “In Europe and Asia and elsewhere, women have ruled over millions; it’s not an abstract or frightening or out-of-the-box concept."
1) Why is Madonna considered an authority on...well, anything other than maybe singing, wearing outlandish and sexually explicit clothing, and giving her kid a stupid name? I did not, do not, and will not understand why celebrity itself equates with importance and relevance on important things. Who can forget the "brilliance" that Sharon "I want it (the nudity) to be shocking, disturbing and brazen" Stone demonstrated about condoms? I still laugh every time I think about it. Why is Tom Cruise or Natalie Portman or Marilyn Manson asked about politics?
2) THis country is very much founded on the principle of NOT being "ruled" by other people. We try, not always successfully, to select LEADERS, not RULERS. Why do you think there are many so-called "Conservatives" outraged over things like the Patriot Act and certain aspects of the wiretapping? How about this; those are elements of RULERSHIP, not LEADERSHIP.
3) I am truly sorry for wasting however much time of your life it took to read this bit that, at its root, is about Madonna. That is 2 minutes you will never get back. i owe you.

I agree, it's ridiculous. That said, would you like a spanking? ;)

I think what you really need is a new spork.
