Aeon Flux (spoilers)

To really understand why I would bother to write this you should peruse and at least basically comprehend the concepts of the previous post. Not that you will enjoy it either way, but that way it will at least make a little more sense.
In Aeon Flux we encounter a world designed to save humanity from an "industrial accident" that destroyed the external world. The entire population of the world is allegedly living within the walls. It is a beautiful world of ovals and circles, of gardens and sunshine, of peace and harmony.
It is important to note the ideas of the writers towards industry. Industry is never seen and only mentioned as evil...it was the cause of the accident that led to the need for this city. From this we extrapolate that they are arguing the industrial complex is driving the world towards self-destruction and must be stopped. This is not said anywhere...but the repeated references to the "Industrial accident" are not overly subtle, particularly when juxtaposed with a world where the only commerce that goes on is a farmers market. Thus we see that industry is evil (in this particular world) although technology...highly advanced, super-intelligent technology...is a heroic character in its own right. Hmm. Go figure.
Anyway, the plot revolves around cloning, yadda yadda yadda, got distracted, lost my train of thought, too bad, because it was brilliant...oh, well, life goes on
