Jokes about non-English speaking cab drivers are everywhere. If you care to examine them, a lot of those jokes have a pretty heavy racial tone, but since many of them are told by Black comedians, they get a free pass. After all, Blacks, as victims of racism, cannot themselves be racist, or so goes the common thinking. Wrong thinking, but there you are.
Well, here is a cab driver whom, from the litte we know of him, is a pretty good member of society. He is honest, works, has friends and takes care of his family. And really, in todays society, what more can we ask of people?

Great story. :) I am a little surprised though. With the way that the media has been trying to build Islam up like all of it's people are Mother Theresa's I am surprised he wasn't identified as "Muslim Haider Sediqi." Either way it is good to know that there are still honest people in the world. And I am very impressed that it made the news. I wonder, would it have, had he been white?
