when headlines get it wrong

A friend and I have been chuckling over a few goofy headlines. Well, here is one of the worst I have ever seen;

"Packard feels betrayed"? What the smurf...the rest of us don't? When a so-called "leader" does something like this everyone is betrayed. And those "harsh" penalties? How exactly is that harsh? Sure, the lying should be discounted in politics...but the theft and unethical actions cut so deep into the heart of the republic that he should lose EVERYTHING he got illegally...and if the bribers are not prosecuted then there is something seriously wrong.
It is time to get the crooks completely out of government and I find no support whatsoever in my heart for this chicanery.

When you find support in your heart for any kind of chicanery, I will ask: Would you like a spanking?
